St. Paul’s summer youth service trip will kick off on Friday, June 14, with the group returning on Friday, June 21.
Heading for Wenatchee, Washington, the seven chaperones and 11 youth members will be taking part in some powerful ministry – leading soccer and basketball camps for the children of migrant workers as well as spending time working with the homeless and addicts, both on the street and in shelters.
Each summer our youth volunteers are equipped and sent to various places in need. They have worked with organizations such as Feed My Starving Children and Lutheran Disaster Response to pack meals for the hungry across the globe and join relief efforts in areas affected by natural disaster. The trips are formative for both discipleship and fellowship.
Remember to keep our youth group in your prayers as they travel to and from Lowry, as well as during their ministry in Wenatchee.
